Judge Robert E. Reavis II

Since retiring from the bench, Judge Reavis have been part time appellate judge for the Bureau of Indian Affairs, and their developing judicial system. Reavis have also filled temporary judicial vacancies for CFR Courts in Colorado and New Mexico.

Indian Law and Tribal Sovereignty is a continually expanding and important part of the law in Oklahoma. Reavis has experience in this area of the law and has worked in cooperation with our local Tribal Court located in the Federal Building in Miami, OK.

Reavis has great respect for the local tribes, their leaders and people, and has maintained important relationships with them during his 24 years of service on the bench.
