Tracy Canard Goodluck, Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Indian Affairs, is a member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin and is also Mvskoke Creek. Prior to her appointment in Indian Affairs, Tracy most recently completed details at the White House Domestic Policy Council and the White House Council on Native American Affairs. Prior to that Tracy was the Deputy Director of the Secretary’s Indian Water Rights Office at DOI and was a class of 2014 Presidential Management Fellow where she began her DOI career with the Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs. Tracy also completed two details to the Obama White House working on Tribal affairs issues, including coordinating the Tribal Nations Conference. She is a former classroom teacher, and school administrator and is one of the co-founders of the Native American Community Academy in Albuquerque, NM. Tracy holds an A.B. in Sociology from Dartmouth College, a Master’s in Teaching from the University of Washington, an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership, and a J.D. and Certificate in Indian Law from the University of New Mexico.
