Star Shields is a Supervisory United States Probation Officer in the District of Arizona in Tucson. Star has worked in the juvenile and federal probation field since 2006 and has served as a U.S. Probation Officer since January 2017. She began her federal probation career in the presentence division and was appointed as a supervisor of a presentence unit in January 2022. Star has written and reviewed hundreds of county juvenile predisposition reports and federal presentence reports during her professional career. Star earned a bachelor’s degree in justice studies from Arizona State University in 2005 and a master’s degree in human relations from Northern Arizona University in December 2019.
